Is PreSIDE a rival method to PRINCE2 ?
No. PreSIDE is a tailored version of PRINCE2. It follows the recommendations of the OGC's publication "Tailoring PRINCE2".

Who owns PreSIDE ?
Metherial Limited developed and market PreSIDE. We own the intellectual property rights and copyright, together with all trade marks.

Do I need a licence to use PreSIDE ?
No. If you have attended an accredited PreSIDE course you can use the materials for your own personal use - ie your work on projects. You cannot sell or make unauthorised copies of any of the materials. This also applies to any of the on-line resources you purchase from this web site.

If I attend a PreSIDE course will I get a PRINCE2 Certificate / Qualification ?
No. You will receive a PreSIDE Certificate of Attendance. Our courses are designed to give practical, effective instruction on how to manage projects. If we were to follow the qualification syllabus for PRINCE2 we would not have the flexibility to deliver efficient, targetted training.

My organisation is a "PRINCE2 shop" - will this exclude me from attending a PreSIDE course ?
No. PreSIDE is fully compliant with PRINCE2 concepts and terminology. Many of the delegates on PreSIDE courses have previously attended PRINCE2 training. They find the practical approach of PreSIDE helps them better understand the sometimes complex PRINCE2 processes.
